Words Shape Our Worlds

This blog is about a poem I have written as I completed the previous poem. I had never written anything like this before but I am so glad that I finally wrote something like this.
I got the idea to write this poem from the recent book I have been reading- 'Side Effects Of Living.'

I have been a huge advocate about 'self expression' and this is the exact reason why I felt necessary to write this poem. There exists no amount of people, manipulation and power that will ever stop me from saying my truth. What I don't stand by is someone lying and believing all the things they have created in their head to shift the blame and be a saint. The terminilogies used to describe me publicly in the past need to be addressed, had it been privately I would have shook off the devil. So, if you've got a problem, go sort it out with your therapist instead of wasting your time on either being a creep or finding quotes to support your assholery.

P.S.- I am not your therapist and that's why I won't be taking your shit. Also remember I wasn't the one who lost their shit 'cause a instagram story highlight named 'psychopath' was reported.

‘Words Shape Our Worlds’

Words, cruel words make
my world, a cruel world.

Their words spewing out of their
mouths as if they know no bounds.

Their words making a halo around my head
as if they know no one else like me.

Psychopath.

'Cause I crossed a line and stood for
myself when I was manipulated.

Liar.

'Cause I disrespected all of them when
I told my truth from my own mouth.

Mad Woman.

'Cause I couldn't please them and let them
take advantage of my brittle heart.

Delusional.

'Cause I remembered too many details
of their haunted crimes.

Abuser.

'Cause they were the hunters who loved to pretend to be the prey.

Bitch.

'Cause I moved on without a closure
from all the vultures who tore me open.

Fake.

'Cause I have stitched together souls of
everyone who once made me bleed.

Cunning.

'Cause I saw their venom lurking on
the edges of their sugar coated words.

Words, cruel words make
my world, a cruel world.

They write their words down on a paper,
as if they are crowns worn by a winner.

Their words do more harm than good,
like a blade cutting through the wood.

Their mouth spill lies in the glass of wine,
their hands fill denials in the gaps between lines.

Words, cruel words make
my world, a cruel world.

Thousand cuts on my soul,
numbness all over my body.

Pitch dark in my psyche,
silence in the back of my throat.

Words, cruel words make
my world, a cruel world.

I don't think the readers need any sort of context, it's all crystal clear.
