Anxiety by Sonali Gupta- Book Review (Mental Health Awareness Week)
Mental
Health Awareness Week.
(Book Recommendation-2)
Anxiety by Sonali Gupta.
The title of this book is self-explanatory because the book talks about 'Anxiety' thoroughly.
I have personally loved this book because I know what anxiety is and I have struggled with it the most especially this past one year. This book is apt for:
a) someone who wants to help a loved one suffering from Anxiety.
b) someone who struggles with Anxiety and wants to learn more thoroughly about it.
c) someone who wants to work as a Mental Health professional one day (like me!)
d) someone who simply is interested in knowing. (mental health awareness never goes to the waste 🙃)
P.S.- This book can not be a replacement of therapy, it is for awareness and for knowing your triggers and yourself better. Please reach out for help to a MH professional and don't rely on self help books or informative books to cure you. 💗
When I started this book, I was genuinely surprised at the sheer fact that the book acts like an encyclopedia for anxiety. There was just so much to learn about this simple word we use on a daily basis- 'Anxiety'. Reading on such topics can get a little boring at times, but I am glad that this book just never got boring at any given point. Maybe because I was able to relate to this book?
Anyways, there's everything from work anxiety to existential anxiety and it's fit for literally everyone. One quote if I may use here from the book will be- 'Nobody is free from Anxiety' and so you must read this book.
I got this book from @booksonthedelhimetro, truly grateful for the work you do and thank you for sending a copy across!
Thank you to the author, Sonali Gupta, for writing this book! This book helped me learn about my anxiety a lot. ❤
Forever the
blue skies,
