Dear Lover
Dear
Lover
In the middle of the night when my feet
were cold as ice I felt you sneaking in with
a blanket.
On the days when my sky painted itself blue,
you became the halo I escaped into.
On the days I came back home,
poisoned
you became the antidote I needed.
The days when I had darkness all around me and the days when I felt scared the
most,
you came back home with your pockets full of fireflies.
I have laughed harder with you than I have ever with anyone,
And I want to laugh at our little inside jokes till my hair turn grey.
Let's promise it till forever,
and see where life takes us together.
Let's give ourselves into this ocean of mad love,
and see if we can make it all alive.
