Valiance
I closed my
eyes and
I dreamt of us.
Holding hands and laughing,
We were climbing stairs which lead to- where?
I don't care,
As long as I am with you.
And suddenly a bright light shone,
piercing my vision and I can't see you no more,
nor the stairs we were climbing.
Where are you?
I was wide awake now,
The sun is shining bright,
Smiling wide on two lovers' plight.
The dawn has arrived,
And just like all other nights
I have lost us like any other time.
Now I sit here,
Cross legged,
Waiting for the sun to go down again,
And the dusk to arrive one last time,
'Cause tonight I will dream of us without anything or anyone waking me up for
the final time.
